Shopping-spree

I've been in a frenzy, shopping dresses like a mad man. It felt great. Four new spring/summerdresses to my ever expanding collection. And also a new pair of shoes. Because I don't have enough shoes! (*hmmmm...*)

I also bought a tiny french press, perfect for when it's just lil' ol' me.
And the colour du jour? Brown/bronze/orange-ish, it would seem...

The sun! Yay - let's celebrate!

I went for a long walk today, had some errands to run, but just wanted to take the time and enjoy the sun, so the bike with the starclad saddle stayed at home.
There were so many people by the lakes. When you live in a winterdark and grey country like Denmark, as a citizen you learn to go outside as much as possible, when the weather is lovely like today.
It's still cold, the lakes are frozen - and they look beautiful with the ice. Like it's raining under it, or that millions of jellyfish have moulded together.
My feet were happy back in the trusted, falling-apart converse. No more big and heavy winterboots, aaah - but weather, please stay cold and sunny until spring. Pretty please?

What happened to...

...trying to save money?
Well, it went afloat when I saw that brown dress. Yes, I know it has stripes *oh gawd, that's just soooo last season!* - but I like stripes, and I really, really like the color.
And then there was the earrings - not all 6 of them, just the pair with the curled up foxes, that you can't really make out on the pictures, but oh wow, and ok yeah, 6 small pair of animal-earrings, yay!
And then there was the mittens, that I've oogled so many times, and I've been steadfast and 'no, you have mittens' - but then they were on sale, and I got a further reduced price because it had a teeny, tiny hole.

All I needed was a small handmirror for applying red lipstick in dark bars. Damn you, H&M!

Oh baby, it's cold outside - and inside too!

When I woke up today in my teen bedroom, there was ice on the inside of the window. But what a view.
Good thing I got a new pair of homeknit socks for christmas - they keep my feet warm! (And in style, I might add.)

One of the scarves

I'm a big fan of scarves.
This is the latest addition to my collection, and I'm really taken with it. I mean, a drawn wolf/big dog, a photo-deer, nature and the infinite universe. And those colors. Oh yes.

Tonight I'm having beers with my best guy-friend. It's gonna be good!

Fall and friends

Today has been spent researching and writing intern-applications (as the entire week has been spent), but I also had an old plan with good, old friends to see a bunch of Monty Pythons Flying Circus.
I just loooove Monty Python. I can watch their sketches and movies again and again, and I get a little crush on Michael Palin every time, hihi.
On my way to the MP-marathon, I passed this old shop that I've always loved, had to stop and take a picture. And then I saw, that my marketmittens (or whatever 'torvevanter' is called in english) had the same color as the fallen maple leaves. Made me want to go to Canada.
At my friends place, there were mattresses, blankets, tea, apples, cookies and a wonderful pumpkin soup, so we could really veg inside and cosy up. The perfect fall day. Except I was a bit stressed, and didn't stay till the end. But it was good.

Tomorrow I'll be having coffee with a friend, and I'm going to see accordeon-marvel-player Bjarke Mogensen play a free concert at a church. Me, in a church, on a sunday even?! What has the world come to.

Ida
