A day of celebration

I'm taking a few holidays this week, and the weather has been wonderful. So I had the morning of, which was perfect - I could celebrate the birthdaychild Nina. We had breakfast at our favourite coffeedealer 'Kaffebar'. 

The main reason why I've taken some days off, is that tonight is a big night - the night where my operasinging friend Denise debuts from soloist class at The Royal Danish Academy of Music. As you might know, I've made a lot of moviesnippets for tonights show, so I debut as a 'moviedesigner', as Denise insists I'm credited in tonights programme. Interesting. Last night we had general rehearsel, and she looked and sounded sooo amazing.

Shopping-spree

I've been in a frenzy, shopping dresses like a mad man. It felt great. Four new spring/summerdresses to my ever expanding collection. And also a new pair of shoes. Because I don't have enough shoes! (*hmmmm...*)

I also bought a tiny french press, perfect for when it's just lil' ol' me.
And the colour du jour? Brown/bronze/orange-ish, it would seem...

Coffee

I'm trying to make nice milkfoam, as you can tell by this previous post. My goal is to make it like in picture one - beautiful AND great coffee from Kaffebar. What more can you wish for?
But I made the coffee in the last picture - it's almost a heart! So I'm sure that I'll be able to make it soon. Only problem is - we're out of coffee at work! So we're all drinking nescafe... please, oh please, let there be new beans today.

The Coffee Milkfoam Experiment

Wouldn't the blogtitle be a great name for a band? No, not really, haha!

The amazing coffeemaker at work. I've youtubed latte tutorials, but the images in the milkfoam are still lacking some... substanse. But they're very abstract and up for interpretation.

All but the first picture is taken with the great iPhone (or whatever smartphone you have) app instagram, that the sweet Anne Kristine, with the amazing blog 11.54, got me to notice.
