Cobbled Copenhagen



I don't think anyone who reads this blog doubts, that I love Copenhagen - but it's an easy city love, it is so charming and beautiful.
I love the streetname - Naboløs. I'd translate it to 'neighborless' in the meaning 'no neighbors'. I wonder how the name originated...

  1. i have almost exactly the same photo as your first one! i remember looking down that street for the very first time and thinking 'you can't be serious. this is not a real street, is it?!

  2. Naboløs er en lille, kort gade i det indre København i forlængelse af Hyskenstræde ned til Slotsholmskanalen. Før ildebranden i 1728 var der kun bag- og sidehuse fra andre, tilstødende gader, men ingen indgange til husene. Deraf fik gaden sit navn.
